It's Friday, furry friend lovers!
We've come to another pre-weekend moment. D and I are getting in gear for tomorrow's show. Since we've been on air, we have had just one show on a day other than Saturday. That was our "Pets International" show that was broadcasted on a Friday night. The ratings for that show were pretty low for the longest time (they've since increased). We've been toying around with the idea of having shows on days other than Saturdays. We think it's best to keep our core Saturday show, but every so often, sprinkle in a bonus show on other days of the week. We're also moving toward doing an additional non-pet related radio show (but of course we will keep The Missy Show).
Next week's show (topic to be announced), will be on location in Birmingham, AL once again. The last one was a little challenging, having to get set up in a hotel room, but it was a good experience overall ("Urban Legends, Animals Edition"). Another plate of that Cheesecake Factory meatloaf would be awesome, but I think we're going to try a new restaurant this time. I'll try to post some pics of some of the sights.
Today is a new day. So hopefully not too many Twilight-Zonish moments at the 9 to 5 today. But even if they do occur, I intend to go into "Laid Back Missy Mode" and just let things unfold as they will. Or I could go into "Hostile Missy Mode" and decide to bite and growl at people. We'll see which mode wins out.
