Puppies Vs Kittens: The Ultimate Battle

Good morning, Missians!

Here's to wishing everyone a very Jelly Belly Friday!

In addition to wanting to wish everyone an awesome Friday, I wanted to put this blog entry out to remind everyone to tune into our Pre-Superbowl episode tomorrow.  This episode is in honor of Animal Planet's, "Puppy Bowl" and Hallmark Channel's "Kitten Bowl".  Tomorrow's episode will be a mixture of Kitten and Puppy Bowl discussion and a discussion about your favorite type of pet:  dogs or cats.  This will be a fun, lighthearted show.  So make sure you tune in.  I've got to start doing my research for the starting line ups for each animal team.  They're all so cute, either way!  We'll be on at our usual time of 5pm Central.  Remember, if you want to join in the conversation live, you can call us at 347-838-8313.  If you'd rather just listen live or in the archives, you can simply go to our Blog Talk page:  www.blogtalkradio.com/shesatortie

Next week's show hasn't officially been scheduled on our Blog Talk page yet, but it will be a Post-Groundhog Day episode focusing on Mr. Punxsutawney Phil, himself (the most famous groundhog of all).  We'll also explore the legend of the groundhog seeing its shadow and what exactly this means.  We're thinking the week after next, we're going to do a show on animal births and what you need to know to help your pet if they're expecting.  I will get those shows scheduled in the next couple of days and provide links to the show descriptions.

Just in case I don't do another entry until after the Superbowl, we here at The Missy Show, just want to wish everyone a safe and happy Superbowl weekend!  For those of you having parties, remember to keep human foods and alcohol out of the reach of your pet; and for those of you who have pets that don't tolerate loud noise and crowds of people very well, be sure to place your pet in another room that is more quiet or make arrangements for them to stay at a friend or relative's house until the festivities are over.

Until next time--
This is your host J,
