Happy Saturday, Missians! Thank you all once again for tuning into another episode of The Missy Show. We're your source for fun and informative pet topics; and today's episode definitely fell under the categories of both fun and informative. D and I had a lot of fun learning about groundhogs, the history of Groundhog's Day, and about the most famous groundhog of all, Mr. Punxsutawny Phil.
It was both hilarious and disheartening to find out that a prosecutor in Ohio sought out the death penalty for poor Phil. The prosecutor felt that Phil's 2013 prediction of an early Spring was false, due to some of the northern states getting pummeled by brutally cold weather for an extended period. Luckily for Phil (and for us who love him), a law office in Pennsylvania came to his aid, stating that the Ohio prosecutor had no jurisdiction in Pennsylvania. Whew! Disaster averted!

Okay. It's Saturday night. Go have fun. But be responsible and take care of your furry family before you get the evening going. Alright? Cool.
