Greetings, Missians!
Happy Tortie Tuesday everyone! I intended to do an entry after Saturday's episode, "Mental Illness in Animals", but instead opted to connect in the "Twitter-verse". But I am here today with all of you, and couldn't be happier.
Well, Easter is nearly upon us. Many of you may be planning get-togethers or doing some kind of outdoor activities. With the weather warming up, now would be a great time to enjoy playing your pets and allowing them plenty of exercise time--just remember to be careful not to allow them near hot grills or leave plates of food unattended, (as you remember from some of our past shows, many human foods can make animals sick or be lethal to them).
This Saturday, we'll be tackling the topic of animals in the amusement industry, (circuses, zoos, Sea World type settings, etc.). We want to explore the conditions under which these animals 'perform' and whether is it harmful to them. We seek to answer the question, of whether our entertainment is worth their lack of freedom? Be sure to share your views of the subject with us on our Facebook or Twitter pages:

To all of you that have pet bunnies, we'd love for you to share a cute picture of them with us! We'd love to see them. Missy likes the bunnies--I think.........then again, she just might be inclined to hiss at them like she does with kittens and a multitude of other creatures, (she can be a little grumpy until she gets to know you).
As much as I would love to stay and chat, the duties of the day are calling. I will likely put out another blog entry before our show on Saturday. So until then, enjoy your Tuesday!
