Happy Tuesday, Missians!
Missy hopes that all of you are having a Terrifically Tortie Tuesday so far. We want to take this time to thank you guys for tuning in to our October Pet Spook-tacular episodes last month. We enjoyed bringing you guys another month of creepy pet topics. We look forward to bringing you all a third installment in October 2016. D. also wanted me to let everyone know that she's sorry she wasn't able to be on the past two episodes, and looks forward to rejoining us this Saturday for our November 7th episode.
Now, onto a new month a episodes! Yay! It's November, and we have a couple of pet holidays going on. November is National Pet Awareness Month, National Senior Pet Month, Pet Cancer Awareness Month, Pet Diabetes Month, and Adopt a Senior Pet Month. Under the animal holidays (they're listed under separate categories), this is Manatee Awareness Month, and National Animal Shelter and Rescue Appreciation Week this week on the 1st thru the 7th (First Full Week of November). And let's not forget that today is Jelly Fish Day--not quite sure what that means--but I assume we are to celebrate the awesomeness of all things "jellyfish" today. So to all you jellyfish out there, you rock--if only for today.
Special thanks you to http://www.holidays-and-observances.com for providing us with these pet and animal holidays. So we have a lot of important animal issues to focus on for the month of November. Be sure to take special care of your fur babies by getting them check ups when recommended and by keeping a lookout for unusual changes in behavior or eating habits; and if you're in the market to adopt, please consider a senior pet.
