What is The Narwhal?

Happy Friday, Missians!

It's that time again--time for another Pet Trivia post from your favorite pet radio show--The Missy Show.  We're your premiere source for fun and informative pet topics.  Be sure to join us tomorrow at 5pm Central for our episode, "Pet Population Woes:  Responsibly Reducing the Pet Population." And remember if you haven't checked out the episode descriptions for our other August shows, you can do so at our Missy Show website or on the Blog Talk Radio site:

As with yesterday's blog post, since we have an episode coming up regarding the ivory trade, I decided to do some animal trivia on a little known animal, (at least to me), called a Narwhal.  Like the Walrus and the African Elephant, the Narwhal is also negatively affected by the ivory trade--but that part will be discussed in "The Fuss About Tusks" episode in a few weeks.

So without further adieu, here is your Narwhal animal trivia:

What is a Narwhal?
What is its nickname, and why?

If you think you know the answers, hit us up on our Missy Show page, above or tweet it to us on our Twitter page at www.twitter.com/missyshow.  The answer will be announced on this Saturday's episode.

Until tomorrow's show,

Here's to wishing you all a Fantastic Friday!

This is your host J,
