More Monday Missy Eps

Happy Mondo Missy Monday, Missians!

As promised, here are the episode descriptions for our upcoming October Pet Spooktacular episodes.  All four have now officially been posted on our YouTube page.  Be sure to check our blog post on Wednesday of this week for this coming Saturday's scheduled show, (I'd gotten so caught up in getting the Pet Spooktacular shows posted, that I didn't even schedule one for September 30th).

Okay, with that out of the way, here we go:

Scheduled for Oct 7, 2017
Spider-goats Revisited:  Animals and Science Merge

If you've been with the Missy Show since we first aired in 2014, you should be familiar with our Spider Goats episode--in it we covered the topic of genetically altered goats, who were able to produce strands of spider silk in their milk. We also explored the potential dangers involved in mixing different species DNA. In this episode, we revisit the subject of genetically altered animals, and whether the risks to animals and humans, justify the potential gains.

Scheduled for Oct 13, 2017
Creepy Destinations:  The Most Haunted Places Around the World

It's our Friday, the 13th episode! And what creepier way to celebrate an October, Friday the 13th, than an episode exploring the most haunted hang-outs around the globe? Which country, state, city, or province has the most ghostly encounters? Or is it a specific destination that scares people the most? Join hosts, J and D, as they discovered the answers to these questions, on a special Friday the 13th edition of The Missy Show.

Scheduled for Oct 21, 2017
The Creatures that Don't Exist:  Creepy Cryptids Return

This episode of The Missy Show is all about cryptids! If you watched our past Pet Spooktacular show on cryptids, you learned that they're creatures that have been spotted by a select few individuals, but never proven to actually exist. You know, like Big Foot, The Abominable Snowman, and The Jersey Devil. In this episode, we revisit the topic of cryptids, covering a different set of creatures, and exploring when, where, and by whom they've been seen. If you're a cryptozoology fan, you won't want to miss this episode!

Scheduled for Oct 28, 2017
The History of Halloween:  Is it Evil?

Halloween. It is a holiday, both loved and hated by many. Those who love it, enjoy the revelry of dressing up, Trick-or-Treating with their kids, going to costume parties, and/or watching their favorite scary movies. Those who hate it, see it as an evil holiday that should be avoided at all costs. So who's right? Is Halloween evil? Does something sinister unfold every Halloween, waiting to spiritually or literally, snatch up those foolish enough to celebrate it? Explore these questions and more, with hosts, J and D, Saturday, October 28th, on The Missy Show.

That's it for now!  See you guys back on Wednesday...

Until then, this is your host J,
signing off...

Hooray!  Pet Spooktacular's on the way!
