Happy Mondo Missy Monday!
I hope all of you had a great weekend, and are geared up for an even greater work-week! I just wanted to do a disclaimer post for our two upcoming Missy Show episodes, because they'll have some adult subject matter. Both of these episodes will air at 8 pm Central on Google Hangouts, and will be available on our YouTube channel afterwards. The first episode, "Sexual Aggression in Dolphins: The Story of Peter," airs this Saturday, April 14th. It is about the real life dolphin named Peter, and the interesting relationship he shared with research assistant, Margaret Howe. Howe was supposed to be teaching Peter how to form words, but things took a much more interesting turn between the two as time went on. Peter was supposedly going through puberty, and began to have "romantic" feelings towards Howe; and her answer to getting Peter back focused on learning words, was bizarre, to say the least.
Okay. Now it's our April 28th show that's a bit more out there. In this one, we'll be discussing bestiality. It's entitled, "Sex with Animals: When Human/Animal Bonds Go Too Far." In this episode we seek to understand the psychology behind what would make a human decide to engage in sexual relations with an animal. What would drive a person to this point? Pure insanity? Mental instability? Loneliness? Perversion? And please understand, this episode will be pro-animal; because an animal cannot make a rational decision to engage in such behavior with a person. And even if some animals seem to initiate sexual behavior toward a person, (as we'll explore in our April 14th episode), it's on the human being to have the moral compass, ethics, and decency to NOT engage in such behavior! In these disturbing scenarios, the human is always at fault and in violation of the animal's rights. Alright, let me get off of my soapbox. I'll save that for April 28th.
We just wanted to let you all know that though neither episode will be graphic, they'll still contain subject matter not suitable for children; so listener discretion advised! Okay, that's it for now. As a warm-up for Saturday's episode, this Friday's blog post will be on Dolphin Trivia. Look forward to seeing you then!
Until Friday,
