A Brand New Month

Happy November 1st, Missians!

Did everyone have a safe and fun Halloween?  In addition to that, hopefully all of you managed to keep your pets calm, secure, and away from all the trick or treating commotion.  Kudos to those of you who did; but remember, to not let your guard down just because Halloween's over.

Keep all your sweet treats out of the reach of your furry friends--especially dogs.  Dogs have a very keen sense of smell, and a hearty appetite to boot.  Don't assume that just because it's candy, your pet won't want any, (and please dispose of those pesky wrappers too--they pose choking and intestinal blockage hazards).

Okay, I'll get down off my soapbox now.  I finally have some upcoming episodes to announce for you for the month of November.  This Saturday's episode, (November 5th), was inspired by my recent vacation.  It's entitled, "The Cock Fights of Puerto Rico-Plus Iguanas at Large."

The next two November episodes will be:

Saturday, November 12th: "Fish as Pets: Aquariums for Beginners"

Saturday, November 19th:  "Working With Animals: Finding Meaningful Work with Pets"

Saturday, November 26th:  Thanksgiving Break Hiatus

Then for the month of December:

Saturday, December 3rd:  "Pre-historic Animals: Animals Back in the Day"

Saturday, December 10th:  "Now This is Some Bull: Rodeos and Bull Fighting"

Saturday, December 17th:  "Cold Weather Animals:  Surviving the Harshest Conditions/Special Reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas".

Saturday, December 24th & 31st:  Holiday Hiatus

I haven't written the episode descriptions yet, but I'll have those done in the next day or so; and also have them officially posted on the Blog Talk site.

Well that's all for now.......

Check back with us tomorrow for our first "Joy of Giving" post of the Season as we pay tribute to deserving Animal Organizations.

Until then,

This is your host J,
